What Do You Need?

Seamless Connectivity with the Gateway
Purchase at least one gateway. The gateway receives data from each sensor and then transmits the data to the cloud console via the local ethernet, WiFi, or cellular network (with optional module).
TempLink’s sensors and Gateway communicate through LoRaWAN, the most cutting-edge and high-frequency technology on the market.
LoRaWAN, the most reliable connectivity system in the industry, eliminates the common headaches Wi-Fi-based systems have. With a performance rating that is second to none, LoRaWAN reduces energy usage, has a greater range of connectivity, is scalable, and is more secure.

Some additional benefits of LoRaWAN include a longer range of connectivity, a more stable connection (vs Wi-Fi or Bluetooth), less interference of other frequencies, and an overall more reliable solution for consumers.Â
Each gateway supports up to 150 sensors within a 500 foot radius.
- Sensor Quantity: Each gateway supports up to 150 sensors. Calculate the total number of sensors in your setup.
- Coverage Area: Measure the area to ensure a gateway’s range (500 feet or 300 yards) covers your operation.
- Network Needs: Consider whether you need multiple gateways for different network types (e.g., ethernet or cellular).
For 300 sensors in a 1,000-foot area, you’ll need at least 2 gateways for proper coverage and performance.
Sensors
Purchase at least one sensor. We have four types of wireless sensors to choose from. Each sensor is smaller than a credit card and has battery life of 6-8 years. The sensor transmits data via Bluetooth 5 (BLE5) and connects to the gateway with a push of a button. The manufacturer states that it will be 10 years at the standard logging frequency.
We offer a fully customizable solutions which may involve integrating the best sensor for your needs
